A Bit About The Workshop

Many parents feel drawn to Waldorf and rhythm-based early childhood practices, but struggle to understand how they actually work. Knowing how to carry these practices into real, modern family life without overwhelm, rigidity, or self judgement is something that can be intimidating in the first 7 years before formal academics lead the way.

Lady Spring’s Birthday was created to bridge that gap.

This adults-only workshop offers a clear, practical understanding of why rhythm, circle time, handwork, and seasonal living are so supportive to children. We explore what often feels confusing or inaccessible, and translate it into language and experiences parents can genuinely use.

Throughout the day, participants will gain insight into:

  • Why rhythm reduces power struggles and daily overwhelm

  • How practices like circle time and handwork support regulation and connection

  • What to keep, what to simplify, and what to release

  • How to build confidence in your own instincts rather than second-guessing every choice

This workshop is designed for parents who feel stretched, uncertain, or curious. Parents who desire clarity, reassurance, and a steadier foundation as the season turns.

The Shape of the Day

This gathering is intentionally structured to balance understanding and experience, conversation and movement, depth and ease.

Morning

We begin the morning with shared grounding and context, offering clarity around rhythm, early childhood development, and the why behind Waldorf-inspired practices. These foundational ideas help orient the day and give language to experiences many parents already sense intuitively.

Lunch

A home-cooked, nourishing, and organic meal will be prepared on site by our hosts. Lunch is intended as a true pause in the day; a time to rest, connect, and allow the morning’s work to settle before we continue.

Afternoon

Participants are invited into rhythm through movement, music, circle work, and seasonal practices.  The afternoon offers space for creativity, handwork, and practical discussion, allowing ideas to settle through doing.

Time for questions and conversation is woven throughout, with a chance to discuss all topics.

What You’ll Leave With

The intention is that you leave feeling clearer, steadier, and more confident. Not full of notes to catch up on, but with an embodied sense of rhythm you can carry home.

Meet the Team

This workshop is offered by a small group of Waldorf-inspired educators and community builders who share a deep respect for early childhood, seasonal rhythm, and the realities of family life. Each facilitator brings her own lived experience, training, and perspective, creating a day that feels both grounded and thoughtfully held.
